I was thinking now we only get to loot one chest per turn of the reset could get more chest around the server

I remember in the past we have more chest around but that was change and now we have change the loot system so it will be nice a idea to add those chest that was remember beck where the ywas

We are reviewing the loot system Lock, adding chests is one option and increasing greater/epic loot percentages is another. However, we need to see the impact of the current change before seeking to make another. Time will tell best next steps.

I think this server well get more player now so all there in party will get a chest not like in the past where we have to wait for 25 min to relad

I think adding more chests would be a big mistake, as would increasing the % of epic loot. IMO it isn't needed.

well first of all 81 how much time do you play on this server it is not much and for the 2 you are afriad that you epics loot treasure well decreasing in value yes iam in for tha tamny of you take over Price for you super item and the you only wwish to trade not selling comeing this server live by greeding and evilness that i have understand so far

More epic loot would make people who gather these items and hoard them like greedy grindng looters not the only ones who can get descent gear for a descent price.

Sometimes, it makes me so damn furious to see people with 5-6 pages of epic gear "FOR TRADE LOLOLOL" while some people who could use it and aren't able to loot for hours or stacked millions in coins.

It is definitely needed, so we others get a chance to trade with Karond too - as most items seem to go straight to you
(and i'm not complaining at all - enjoy them. )

Overall i like the new lootscript - but i've only seen a slightly increase of partying since it got in. What i see is - that i only get half the loot from a dungeon/reset than before, now i need to spend some time to run somewhere else and that is time consuming and not really fun for me at all.
So some more chests would be nice - at least in the far of places to make it worth to travel there.

I think it needs a slight bump in loot. Now I have found some pretty wicked stuff lately but I looted around 50+ chests to do that. What about the other peeps? Not everyone has the time I do to loot. I never trade my gear. In fact I find ways to put it into RP instead. Coming up soon there is a big auction and it will be spectacular. There will be items in there up for bidding that are trade only. However for the average person they are likely to see nothing but a bit of gold and a scroll or a potion in the chests as is. There needs to be a balance and right now balance is a little off in drops. Not by much though just a little.

Couple things...

1. You can loot all you want and get all the nifty epic uber loot in the current rig and loot table and you will still not be able to trade with the "big boys" simple fact is nothing can compete with grandfathered gear. I don't say this to upset anyone, I don't have any grandfathered/dm awarded stuff either as I'm relatively new. I recently found out I'm considered "rich" by most standards even though I've attempted to trade with a few folks from this thread and others, but just couldn't compete. Point being I'm apparently one if the "haves" now, just on the lowest possible end so still not invited to the party, just get to see more of what I'm missing.

2. Any changes to loot, merchants, etc. Will only be made in a somewhat conservative manner as you can't "undue" power creep as easily as you can increase things a bit more if previous changes are deemed to have little impact. A measured approach must be taken to ensure we don't undo the fantastic work put in to make this server great.

So don't try to compete with Karond or other folks that have gear no longer available, all of those items will stay with the dozen or so players that have been around or were the lucky recipients of players that quit and handed off their gear... it's unhealthy and can only lead to frustration. Instead think about what would be better for the 90% that just want a chance at the stuff that is still available and what things are under represented in the loot tables. These are the kind of things that perhaps can be improved upon.

it is not that we competeing but we just tell how they way they bargaining. they buy stuff from folks and the they only wish to trade not selling couse they know how easy it is to get gold but not uber item and then it is wrong way RP trade

I disagree about the trading...take a real world example of baseball cards...some are common and easily purchased, some are rare, but can still be bought at a premium. Others are rarely if ever sold for money and when they are only by rich folks...generally they are traded between the few collectors that have equally priceless cards.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to trade an old piece of unattainable gear for a new piece... the existence of such pieces will always lead to this situation. It is completely in character that an adventurer with a truly unique, godlike item would seek to trade said item for an equally powerful item they can make better use of.
