Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

So for a bit I was running a pretty awful a Tempus cleric/warpriest combo and I am looking to ramp up the damage.

My problem is I don't want to heavily multi class. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Warpriest is pretty underwhelming as a class, but OTOH there are not a great many options for Clerics. Hospitaler is an alternative with 6/10 spell progression and Bonus Feats.

One you may have overlooked is Cleric/Bard/Stormsinger. The point of this combination is that you can advance Cleric casting on Stormsinger levels, while still gaining the Inspiration/Song progression. Bard gives you access to Tumble, effectively adding 2AC to the build, plus you have the ability to use arcane scrolls. Nothing to stop you adding a 4th class if you wanted, e.g. Cleric12/Bard4/SS10/AK4 to add some damage from anointing your weapon.

Another way is to go for an EDM build; this would be fairly easy as an Aasimar full Cleric, although the skills would be poor. A third way is adding 5 FB levels and turning on IPA. Fully buffed your AB will be high enough to absorb the Penalty.

Barbarian provides no bonus that make it worthwhile.

Go with cleric 25, berzerker 5, or the classic cleric 26, fighter 4 build maybe? Both would operate as strength builds with a minimum of wisdom, likely 16 or so.

You could also make an EDM cleric, in which case you might want to stay pure or just dip with paladin/blackguard/warlock for the saves, fighter for feats or rogue/monk for the expose weakness. Either way, aim for 29-30 CL in the end.

FS (C or BG) FB is likely the best build. There is nothing wrong with going C 25 FB 5 with 29CL.

STR Cleric25/FB5 is superior to FS25/FB5. Vastly, if you choose the "right" deity.

By which he means; Auril, Eldath, Istishia, Silvanus or Umberlee (Water Domain).

Animal is a little cool with so many cleric levels. Silvanus has that domain too

I got rid of the warpriest and went a few more cleric levels, I believe it's a good concept with Tempus with great abilities to buff your party, and still have good AC/AB/DMG yourself.

Otherwise you could try a Cleric / FB / DC combo?
