The use of the feat "Dodge"

It became a bit of a habit in most of my builds, to take the feat dodge, because it was mostly required for stuff anyway. But how good is the feat really as a standalone feat? Pretty bad, right?

Good question. Afaik it is 1 ac good. So it don`t seem bad to me. But how the calculation of this works would be interesting. Are there circumstances in which this bonus don`T apply?

Dodge feat bonus is only good against the foe you are in direct attack mode with.

Sorry for taking over your thread Zanni. The feat description on nwn2 wiki says you get +1 ac for your current and your last attacker. Would this make 2 critters you get that bonus for then? On another note wiki says the feat will stack. Does this mean i get +2ac if i take the feat and use an item with dodge?

What Wiki means is that if you kill one opponent it switches to the next. Exactly how it determines which opponent you get the 1AC bonus is, AFAIK, unknown. It is Dodge AC, which means it stacks with other Dodge AC, up to the Dodge AC cap of 20. Warning: lots of AC is Dodge, e.g. Divine Shield.

Dodge is not as good as LoH or Armor Skin, or Armor/Shield Spec or even TWD, all of which work against all opponents. It's essentially a "filler" feat; only worth taking if you need it for something else or you have more Feats than you know what to do with (which almost certainly means you missed a better option).
