Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Hi there, im new to the server and NWN2 so I just wanted to make sure my future build didnt completely suck, and had some mechanical questions! The build is based on the update that has hopefully not been post-poned for too long!

Race - Aasimar
8 Cleric/ 7 Man at Arms / 5 Master Alchemist / 10 Hierophant
8C/4MaA/5MA/3H at 20

Domains - Spell and Planning

STR -16 (22) Dex-8 Con-10 Int-12 Wis-16 Cha-17(22) (Needs +3-4 Wis item)

Skills - 10 Craft Alchemy*, 10 Spellcraft*, 30 Tumble, 15 Lore*, 4(8) umd, 26 concentration = 99 * = Prerequisites


Feat order - (1)Extend Spell*, (3)Brew potion*, (6)SF Craft Alchemy*, (9)Power attack, (12)Divine Might, (15)Divine Shield, (18)Practiced Spellcaster Cleric, (21)Blind Fight (Bonus MaA), (21)Great STR1, (23)Great CHA1, (25)EDM, (27)Great CHA2, (29)Craft Wand

Hierophant - Spell power 1-3, Inscribe rune, gift of the diety


1 - Am I missing anything important or is the build just generally terrible
2 - Does it have 30CL?

3 - Can mages learn spells off Inscribe rune the same they can off scrolls
4 - What does - "He may store one spell per spell level" mean for Inscribe rune.
5 - Can the "Anyspell" domain spell be used to craft potions/wands/runes using an Arcane spell. In example - cast Anyspell(8) to get Haste. Use Haste on a Bone Wand to get a Wand of Haste.

I hope that you are already playing a character to explore the server with. I have no idea when those classes will be implemented but hopefully it is in the near soon.

I have no idea about if this class combination & feats are any good. I can imagine it would help for others to know what you want to do or achieve with your character..? What do you envision him/her as?

I reckon these work as a Blood Mage's blood scars, in that they are not transferable - so no.

4 - What does - "He may store one spell per spell level" mean for Inscribe rune.

You can have 1 lvl 1 spell, 1 lvl 2 spell, 1 lvl 3 spell and so on... This is how I understand it as.

Not sure how this spell works but typically, you can create a wand from any cast spell, scroll, wand or even item as long as the spells are not custom ones.
