How do you tell Issue
Hi recently I've started playing and Sometimes Tell doesn't work even if you type /t ''Character name'' text
Why is that and how do you fix it?
I have client extension and whatnot. How do I tell properly and with ease?

Right click their name in the chat log and select tell from the drop down menu. For some reason it bugs out sometimes and has a space after their name you must delete.
Also in the bottom left menu on your screen their should be an option called "players" or something. It is a list of everyone online including DM's and by selecting a name there you can send a tell.
Finally if they send you a tell simply type /r to reply

Re: How do you tell Issue
P only shows players, it is not used for tells. Try the other methods I suggested. A tell should look like this -
/t "FairyMaster" Dwarves are the best
Right clicking their name in the chat log sometimes causes this to happen -
/t "FairyMaster " Dwarves are the best
It is that added space that needs to be deleted.

Click the NWN eye and it should give you a dropdown menu with "Playerlist".
Click that and you#ll get a small list of all the people on the server, including DMs.

Re: How do you tell Issue
player list is the easiest one, you just have to scroll thru and click
any right clicking gets iffy, sometimes it works and other times it may not, and anyone with special characters in their name will reset the cursor to the beginning of the line when you start to type which is really annoying, but you just have to click the at the end or hit the key end to put it back where it needs to be and it wont do it again, till you type a new one

Also, there is an option somewhere that you might have turned on that does not allow you to send tells to other players. I had it turned on once for about 6 months. :/ Could never figure it out.

its if you right click the chat box but dont click on actual chat, it brings up the options for the chat box, you can choose to turn off tells
