Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I can log in as Cranston on my laptop, but if I select any other PC's I crash to desktop. Tried on my PC and had no trouble logging in as any of my PC's, came back to the laptop and again, can only log in as Cranston, otherwise crash... Very strange, but does anyone have advice on this issue?

Do your PCs other than Cranston have PrCs either custom or from MotB/SoZ?

the ones I was trying to log in to were storage PC's so mostly Rogues with only 1 or 2 levels. One was a Wizard level 9. None had any PRC's.

Well, never heard of this before, though it has been a long while since I was in a position to access my account using 2 different Keys and on 2 different computers.

On the laptop, can you create a new PC, then log in? Then, can you open that new PC on the desktop? Then, reopen it on the laptop?

It could be that, for some reason, your .bic file for the PCs other than Cranston, on the laptop, are borked.

I will give that a try when I have some time to log back in. thanks Steve, for the idea's... I agree it is very strange. I am using the same CD key on both computers, I wouldn't log in at the same time in any case. Only need to be on one computer to play.

really strange...I've successfully logged in with each of my characters, but still get a CTC occassionally as well. it's intermittent, but I guess it was just luck earlier where it happened to always work with Cranston and not the others...prolly a Windows 10 issue, cuz...yeah, sux.
