Something I encountered...not a real problem, except, if you are not paying attention, the Militia will throw your arse in jail!!!
Blue Hood #245 in the Appearance Changer...do not pass go...but definitely pay up!!!

There are many masks/full helmets that do not count as face coverings as well.

And many open-faced helmets, hoods etc. that do count. Even the blindfold counts!

Of course they do. No one recognizes Batman or Superman (glasses?!) or The Arrow or The Flash. Need I go on?
Repair will be included in the next update with HAKs in it.
BTW, it appears this was a simple copy-template issues. The items before and after 245 are properly tagged as face covering.
As for other potential offenders, please post item number here and I can check. I would rather not sift through 250+ templates.

Was there anything still needed for this to be addressed?
Because it is still not working properly (properly being relative, of course).
Cause this issue is with all NPCs that have the check script...even crossing Wyrm's Crossing is a hazard! lol

I don't know if it is related or not, but I've noticed lately that when I apply a helmet to an NPC creature, sometimes the helmets aren't showing up in game when I test them. This has been like this for a few months, because I first encountered it when putting a 'mask' on an NPC in Greenest as per a DM request. Only for the final area verison to not have the mask show up.

Be sure the "Never Draw Helmet" and "NeverShowArmor" properties are
not checked.
I noticed sometimes in the TS, when editing a creature within an area, changing appearance using the Armor Set tab does not always appear to take effect on the creature/NPC standing in the area. If I close/open the area, it seems to fix whatever was preventing NPC's changed appearance from taking effect.

I discovered an issue with these items a few weeks back but think I know the reason why.
much like how robes change appearance between genders (ie having gender specific robes) helms/hoods are the same.
So your issue with the blue hood has a mask/cloth covering a female characters face but not on yours. I'm almost certain that's the case with that specific hood.

There are other hoods available through the appearance changer if you specifically want that hoods color and appearance then please make it in the toolset and follow the guidelines for player requests in regards to custom appearance items.

I was thinking of that, and would do it, but...unfortunately, I use a Windows app emulator on a Mac, and there is no Toolset working for it (to my knowledge). I will not have access to a Windows computer until June or July.
But I was earlier checking up on what Duster and Karond mentioned about some larger (?) change to the many hoods/helmets that are not Tagged correctly, for the Transition Blocking Script.
