Background: The youngest daughter of House Dhy'Nesshir of Ched Nasad, Verronyca never had the chance to enter the Lolthite clergy. Soon after her birth, a lower house seeking a higher position tricked her family into lowering their guard during a trip to gather artifacts from a nearby Netherese ruin. While there, every member of House Dhy'Nesshir was killed, all save Verronyca whom was safe back in the city. Having heard the news of the family's demise, Verronyca's guard fled to the streets and raised her as a shebali. From an early age she learned how to sneak through the alleys unseen and other places she should have avoided. Just as she neared her first century, she was found out by those that killed her family. Her guard died protecting her as she fled Ched Nasad. She traveled the Underdark aimlessly until she encountered some duergar mining far from Ched Nasad and forging mighty weapons at their nearby outpost. She joined them as a scout for some time, but that ended a scant decade later when illithids attacked and enslaved the entire outpost. Quicker than the attackers, she managed to escape before the outpost was fully taken. Once again in the vast Underdark by herself, she journeyed until she was captured by a colony of svirfniblin. Suspicious of the lone drow, she did her best to reassure them that she was not a forward scout for a larger drow war party. Unsure of what to do with her, the deep gnomes tossed her in a shabby prison where she stayed for a few months. Goblins attacked the gnomes, and during the scuffle, Verronyca managed to break free of her makeshift prison cell and escape with the remnants of the goblins. Years passed with the goblin tribe, where she learned their language, and when they joined a large orc warband, she decided it was still safer than returning to Ched Nasad and those that seeked to destroy her. As the warband picked up members of kobalds and runaway slaves from nearby Sshamath, Verronyca decided to visit the city. She had heard rumors that the city functioned very differently from Ched Nasad. She spent several years there before she was approached by the leader of the local branch of Bregan D'arthe. She eagerly joined with hopes that those pursuing her would let her be while she was within the Bregan cell.
Goals: Further Bregan's agenda, destroy those that destroyed her family (more so that they won't hunt her down than for actual revenge)
