More appearances needed

Dwarven waraxes need more than the 4 current choices offered. There was a post long ago where a player suggested they combine battleaxe and waraxe appearances however I was totally unable to get a reply either saying no or yes from anyone. Maybe there is custom content or perhaps a player can make new ones?

Do you want totally new models? Or clones one to the other? Clones are easier but may or not look so good. New models need to come from NWVault or someone proficient in 3D modeling, *mdb files and skins, typically *dds.
Or is this simply are request to add more variants to the AppChanger? Not hard. Just time consuming.

What is the difference between clones, new models, and variants? I don't want the same 4 shapes with different colors as we already have that. The problem is there are exactly 4 models and 2 of them have like 2-3 different color versions. It would be great if we could simply take the appearences battle axes use and make them available for waraxes since they are both 2 or 1 handed axes of roughly the same size and shape. This would provide much needed variety.

Can any of this be used? Please forgive my ignorance in all things programming related if I am asking way too much. I am just dead sick of looking at the same 4 axes for the last 10 years -_-

On a similar note, could the Longsword models be cloned for use by the Bastard Sword? I ask because half the 'longsword' models you can use in the appearance changer are actually bigger than those for the 'bastard sword'. I find this to be more than a little odd, especially when you pay a feat on Exotic Weapon Proficiency to get a Bigger and Badder Blade (tm), only for those pansy elves to give you weapon envy with their racial proficiency weapon.
Damn perfect elves with their perfect... *mutters*.

These all appear to be viable. Main issue is if they use existing model numbers it becomes 10x more tedious to import them.

You can even put it on the back burner and put it in later this year. I fully understand you are uber busy and this is probably request #6412. We dwarves are very patient but the original post about this was made Tue Feb 19, 2013 so three years appears to be the limit we can wait without getting a simple "Yea sure" or "no".

It is not a .2da file issue. It is a model name issue.
I put it on my list. I have a long list.
Fortunately, others are stepping up w.r.t. area work. So maybe I will get more time for supporting infrastructure such as this.

YAY! Thank you in advance! I really do wish I had a head for such things as programming and delving through files but truth be told I break total war games on a notepad at least once a month just trying to unlock factions -_-

Can we get the half-elf head models copied for the half-drow, please? They should probably look similar any way, and it sure beats the vanilla potato-people.
Edit: Didn't realise this was such an easy change. I altered 2 entries in 'appearance.2da' and it worked. While the server's down I think I'll mess around some more.
