Magic Vestment Disappears on Crash

This has happened a few times to me where I'll just end up crashing in the middle of fighting a large group of enemies. When I log back in, I've lost 8 AC and I'm being pummeled. Losing 2700 xp more than once because of this is not very fun.
Most of my other spells stick, just Magic Vestment and Greater Magic Weapon doesn't. Is there any way this can be fixed or was this implemented to stop exploits with enchantments sticking?
