Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I'm quite new to NWN2 - it is a lot different to NWN original. So far I've figured out my builds as I've leveled up, discovering differences and new feats etc, with only vague goals in mind of achieving prestige classes. But this time I need some help if I hope to pull one off.

I'd really appreciate any help you can give me for the following character concept; a "barbarian" of Ilmater.

The RP concept is that of an Ilmateri fanatic, styled after the middle ages western monks of Christianity (with some twists). He is man from the common class, born again from his sordid past to a new life of holy devotion to Ilmater. A street preacher, a flagellant, a warrior-priest and a hater and persecutor of evil. "REPENT" tattooed on his forehead and a two handed weapon (probably a large mace). His hard line against evil and love of justice is tempered with compassion and mercy toward mankind (in keeping with Ilmateri doctrine).

Mechanically, he is not a barbarian in the sense of throwing a "battle tantrum" when he activates rage, or in that he is an uncivilized thug. I simply feel that the barbarian class best reflects this character concept, who's wrath is religious zeal and whose stamina is his spiritual fervor. I'd love to explore Frenzied Berserker with this martyr style character.

Not realistic at all unfortunately.

It's a pretty tough concept to build, here is what I came up with while trying to follow your guidelines :

As all fighter types it needs the best gear you can get, however even with the best defensive gear he will take blows frequently, AC : 43, 46 when raging.

Otherwise it hits fairly hard (~44 while using improved power attack, 49 when raging) but he won't have a very high AB : 38 with IPA activated (it's high enough though), 41 when raging.

18 minutes of rage per rest, which is not too bad.

In all honesty this won't be a top dog ever as far as power goes but it will be playable through and though (and backed up by 1-2 casters it will do great).

I added divine champion as it seemed to fit the concept well and .. dervish because it really needed AC, hopefully it's not too far away from your concept.
