Dwarven berserker

Hi guys,

If you ever read Gotrek and Felix you know where I am coming from, but think of him even more insane and less caring about his life.. yep we are out there.

This Berserker however will be using 2 weapons, preferably dwarven war axes, he will be using light armour (Or no armour, still want to him to be able to survive, so going a bit into wizard/cleric etc to make up for his skin being tattooed with wards or something is more than cool with me)

He will of course go into the berserker tree, I will need immune to fear of course going with the roleplay and also Battle rager is something I would love to go into too for the purpose of rp etc.

So in essense what he needs to have is

2 axes.

Very light armour/none - But if none some kind of "warding tattoo's", any class welcome that makes sense

Immune to fear

Orange beard and mohawk (I can cover that one!)

Everything else is up for grabs to make him more dwarven berserker/rager, does not have to be a awesome build, going for overall roleplay here, but saying that, for the roleplay to work he cant just die straight away, though thats what he wants in essence.

Any thoughts on this one?

6 ranger, 12 fighter, 5 tempest, 7 weaponmaster

- Strong dualwielding fighter.

21 barbarian, 5 battlerager, 4 fighter

- Strong barbarian type, but uses a shield+waraxe to use epic rage and shield slam.

---

Something to keep in mind is that you could technically be shirtless in this game, while still benefitting from armor. When the slayers had more activity (dwarven guild, based largely on those novels), that's what we did. We wore chainshirts, fullplates etc., but the dwarves were still shirtless with blue tatooes. You could walk that same road.

Berzerker doesn't pair that well with dualwielding, nor with battlerager. It's not impossible to make, but some theme should probably be sacrificed for some efficiency to ensure you've fun playing the character.

I like the ranger one, but if forgetting dual wield, 2 hand works fine for me too, the idea of shield however goes against the character concept quite heavily, though I guess could use 1 dwarven waraxe and choose the shield that does not show so he's hacking away 1 handed.

Another option would be Fighter8/Dervish10/Dwarven Defender7/Tempest5. Gets some pretty decent AC with Improved Two Weapon defense and luckily, has the feats to spare for everything else it needs. Starting stats should look something like 16/17/13/14/8/6 for shield dwarves - you are maxing out strength.

Can do 10 DD and 7 dervish instead if you value DR over situational slashing damage. Best used with a mithral breastplate or mithral scale mail in conjunction with a +3 DEX item. Studded leather armor ain't too bad either.

Try and fit 3-4 levels of dragon warrior in there, they get fear immunity.

Tok the words right out of my mouth... I have long wanted to play a build with dragon warrior in it, thematically they are awesome. Mechanically not so much, though, and I have too many toons as it is..

The problem with Dervish is the limited uses of Dance - 5 minutes a rest period, which can be quite long when you get to Epic levels. And 7 levels of D doesn't get you Tireless...
