Can we please have a way to get rid of PvP rules and Server rules?
Now there are 4 slots taken up by ooc equipment. Worse, the icons used don't even look like books, so I loathe to use them as journals. (yes, I care about icons, colors, etc for characters)

So I was thinking, instead, have the items say about 3/4 of the way down, where you can turn them in for XP, after passing a small 3 question quiz on the rules by the NPC who will collect it.

A one time quest for noobs, that also teaches some manners.

I love this idea! Putting them in inventory does not ensure reading, but reading them and passing a little quiz let's you rid yourself of the inventory, gives a little bonus to the player and, most importantly is a decent nudge to encourage learning the rules!

Yes, please. There's really no reason to have non-droppable rules items. The rules are on the forums, on the loading screen in character creation, and in the OOC room. I've never used the widget to look at the rules; I imagine that a majority of the playerbase doesn't use it, either.

I like the proposed solution to the widget problem.

It's a great idea NeOmega. I love it. And it gives the little push to new people to really read the rules. And more important, understand them. It will prevent a lot of headaches to players and the team.

Really, really nice.

I usually don't have much in my inventory, but I can think of so many cases this would have helped.
