Space and RP/RP tools are the only thing that made SWG good, and most of the emu servers have neither.

Oh, and player housing.

For ground combat and ground content though, TOR beats it.

I was just remarking to someone the other day how much fun I used to have in SWG. Before it was ruined, of course.

Player housing is in! And I do find RP occassionally too. By RP tools, which do you mean?

Storyteller system, which is something that came in sometime into the NGE era. It was essentially decorating-for-outside, and let players create some amazing outdoor setups for plots and the like.

They've been saying that ages. So far only Legends has managed it, though I sadly can't see any server getting enough of a pilot community to recreate the glory days of Starsider space pvp.

When it comes to sf roleplay there is nothing better than inspiring your fellow freedom fighters via proximity voice chat by singing patriotic american songs in planetside 2. Space America, best America. Unpatriotic scum who respond with oppressive stuff like "stfu noob" or "YOU CAN'T SING, MY EARS ARE BLEEDING, PLEASE STOP." or something similar, get a batch of c4 dropped on their vehicle of choice.

Spoken like a true Conglomerate scum, envious of alien spandex like always.

As a side note, every saturday GMT evenings SWGemu has Creature Handlers pit their creatures against each other in front of Mos Eisley cantina.
