Inspire Regeneration Doesn't work on Gondsman?

As the title says, my bard's Inspire Regeneration spell doesn't seem to be working on my Gondsman. He will not recover health. Other Inspire bard songs have worked.

Don't think it works on any summon/companion and never did.

Technically, as constructs, shouldn't NO positive energy based healing work on them?
