If Im right there is something that randomizes items...if yes it's pretty not randoming well, cause -
you can't see some stuff that is needed. I know 4 sneaky bastards and 3 DSM's who complain about lack of daggers. I am one of such, so daggers can be a god example - Best thing you can do is - get a 2x+4 daggers for 10-15k cause ppl sell them for that price, get 2x daggers from NPC that gives 1d6 electro dmg and...thats all. Never saw or heard about other daggers like - 1d6 fire, acid, usable feats. But I heard about daggers that give...cleave! awesome.
If there are other daggers that are usable except for 1d6electro and +4 it's cool but, if people that are searching for other elements on weapons or daggers like +3with element -never heard about them, and those items DO exist, that means there aren't enough of em. This is an example of dagger but many weapons/armor suffer a lack of differency and it would be awesome to, if not in shop, see them in drop.
Second thing is something about end game - Epic stuff. All I can hear is - this epic stuff is worth a lot, you want this armor from mith +4? gimme million, want this dagger? million also.
I hear that people aren't selling that or if they do they sell for million(s) cause it's really rarely drop or only obtainable from dm and if you ask someone about build you will hear - "go with odd stat cause you probably won't get a +4 item, I'm playing here year and half and never got one".
So...server is developing, shouldn't there be some chest that resets once per month, not per restart, that has bit higher chance to drop any "epic" item and make end game items more friendly so after time there will be more of them for people instead of for your other chars or for trade only, so you can gear your other chars?

You can buy a pretty good dagger from the stealth, rogue vendor guy in Baldur's gate harbor district. Wyvern Daggers, +3 EB, 1d4 Acid and an on hit strength debuff.

Re: Item drop suggestion
It was considered. We all know about those daggers also, there is a small problem - it's expensive and it is not usable after getting good feats or going on harder monsters. Still the best way IF you will get them are +4 or +2 1d6electro nothing more or if yes it's in rare cases.
Daggers are one of examples there is more than only them^^
Also I want to ask cause I don't know that - are there any exclusive goods that can be found only in underdark(like adamantite) and surface ? so there would be any barter between those two worlds or...just all got same chance for same stuff ?

There are a few different things in the underdark but it's mostly the same. You may want to check out the small arms merchant down there and see if she has something you may like. Gathering good equipment takes time and a fair bit of luck. Most people have spent years acquiring their good equipment, so keep your head up man. You'll find something if you keep at it.

Re: Item drop suggestion
the wyverns dagger are probably the worse daggers on the server to be rather honest
they are insanely expensive for a low DC poison that doesnt stack, you might be able to kill steve with them but yea... they are not worth it unless you want them to say you have em
