Notable Clergy and their Churches

Along the same lines as the 'Mages of Note' post, I'd like to open up a discussion on the who's-who of clergy in and around the Sword Coast. For this list, I will break it up by god, and then if necessary by Shrine/Temple/Church location.

I think this list will be helpful in keeping the PCs in the backdrop of a living world, and will give some of those that put points in Lore skills something to be familiar with more so than others.

Once again with this thread, please nominate your characters (or others) that may be "well known" publically as clergy (not lay people) of any particular god. Please include name, god affiliated, and a particular location if applicable.

Hopefully it will work as smoothly as the other.

Thanks!

Lathander:
Eldarian Al'maire - Knight Commander of Templars

Beregost:
Neschera - Dawnpriest

Ilmater:
Ameris Santraeger
Merielle - The Living Saint (left for Amn)

Bane:
Kagger

The few off the top of my head that are likely active:

Lathander
Mystra
Gond

I would list out Bane and Shar here as I am sure there are some active players, but they don't always want to come out and be listed, and they likely wouldn't be "common knowledge" anyway.

I can probably mine out some names from these churches based on forums, but if anyone has ideas that would be great.

Bane - Kagger

Illmater - Eldarian Al'maire

I'm horrible at remembering these things without my notes on my home PC, but there is a start for ya...

EDIT: Whooops, yeah, I'ma idiot...no notes :P

Is this clergy only, or is it paladins/favoured souls/ other divine characters?

For Clergy:

Aeili Azenci - Priestess of Mystra and Cleric (also formerly of the Weavemasters)

Alesea Abbot - Dawnbringer of Lathander (Beregost only?)

Some other prominent priests who I am not sure are still active include:

Tegeus Cromis - Doombringer of Hoar (Baldur's Gate)

Cara Joriani - Scriviner of Jergal, formlery of Myrkul (Baldur's Gate, the North)

Verith Skryle - Priest of Myrkul (the North?)

Has not been active in a very long time, unresponsive to PM's and Skype...not sure he would still be well known, though he had a good impact during the brief time he was around! :) Been over a year and a half (at least) since he was in game....

PS - I believe Merielle is in Tethyr!

Another retired but likely well known priest:

Sister Louise de la Valliere - Adorned of Ilmater

Yeah, I was figuring it was enough to have him be remembered!

Besides what's already been listed I would add the following

Ilmater:
Abby Winters (best healer ever! EVER!)

Lathander:
Tolan Faeglin (sp.?)

Elistraee: (not widely known, perhaps, but known enough)
Rilae'ar'an

Auril:
Irini Iceheart

Also, while not technically clergy there are several well-known paladin types.

Paladins of Torm:
Sir Jonas Rokranon (Order of the Radiant Heart)

Paladins of Helm:
Arkaine Half-Orken (ORH)
Sveta Asperan

Paladins of Lathander:
Cecilia Lafayette (ex-Tyrran? & ORH)

Known Fallen Paladins:
Valiant Blincraft (ex-Tormite?)
Eleanor (ex-Tyrran?)

These are names that jump out the most in my memory.

Lucy Heartfilia is the most famous cleric of the Red Knight I know of. Sadly, this is exactly how she went out:
I'd only ever had one real RP scene with her :(

Includes paladins and fs

Most likely:
Cecilia Lafayette.
Ronin Marcus
Rilae ('raran (?))
Arkaine half-orken (?)

Possibly:
Thomas Marlowe
Evelyn Lyonson (notable character, her deity most likely not known)
Tolan (Faeglin?)

---

Is there a point in those threads?

For the Ilmatari may i just mention Wendy Sky, She assisted in curing part of the plague recently and also helped get many dwarves from Kraak Helzak back on their feet. Wendy would be known arround Baldur's Gate and the friendly arms Inn

Kaltyra (spelling?) Greyfox: Druid of Grumbar. She used to give away free healing herbs outside of the Friendly Arms Inn, and was one of the few full-blooded orcs accepted by the dukes.

Zeno Zelot: Favored by Birth and Chosen in Life by the Stormlord Talos, Granted Partial Lichdom by his benefactor.
