Every hour or so that I'm on the server, there are times when response is rather slow. Mostly in combat, but other times, it completely drops me out of the server. Though I can still see other servers, I can't see the BGTSCC server. And this persists for a while, only being able to re-log back onto the server hours later.

Is this due to the updates or is the server suffering from DoS attacks daily?

Its all the ongoing DDoS attacks.

Good news is you are not alone, bad news? We are getting Ddos'ed (yey!) Its been going on/off now throughout the week and has been making the server unstable.

But the community here is still strong (if not stronger) than before; whatever the DDOS'er thinks he is doing is actually backfiring. We should (hopefully) have some protection and things will go back to normal soon.

The DMs have told us to bare with them until this is all sorted out, the admins are aware and working on it currently.

Every time I think about DoS/DDoS I always think about Bitcoin. Imagine if they were all instead collaborated into a Botnet. You could shutdown sites by visiting their webpage with that many raspberry pi's XD
