Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Hey guys, I hope I have the spell name correctly, but there is a new level 1 spell called improved familiar or something similar.

Can anyone explain to me how that works, if it works, what it does, etc?

For me, it just casts then nothing.

The "familiar" line of spells do nothing at this point in time. I believe Rasael hopes to implement them at some point in the future, however.
