Bugged fishing?

Hey, so. Not sure if any changes were made recently to the fishing script, so please feel free to toss this out if this is just a case of bad luck on my part.
Somehow now with a skill of 50 in survival, I'm suddenly catching a whole lot of absolutely nothing. Just today, I've had two fishing poles break on me spontaneously as well. This was all while fishing in Ulgoth's beard. The second lasted all of 15 casts!
Now, I've had runs of bad luck with fishing - but lately, it seems -extra harsh-. Constantly losing bait and constantly having fishing rods break, while others of lower survival skill seem to be getting consistent catches. Is this new script stuff, or just the breaks?
