URGENT: Spell dancing lights looks ridiculous!

Unread post by NeOmega »

Ok, maybe not urgent... but for a spell that is basically cosmopolitan, and that says looks pleasing to the eye, can we get a better effect? I've seen some spells with better effects. I just don't know what it was. (basically, the lights slowly swirled and faded in and out, the person I saw cast them, they were blue)

The spell I believe is limited to the Silverstar of Selune class. It was probably me you saw cast it and the effect is very fitting to the class and the deity Selune itself. I believe the intention was to make them look like the star's within her art. I am a fan of the effect and hopes it stays the same, changing it would probably only make it look worse, or less fitting.

Yours is the the nice looking one I've seen cast before, and was hoping what this spell would look like, except maybe with white lights instead of blue.

The one all casters get now is something like Rilli's Respledant lights or something like that. A level 1 spell that looks terrible, and whose only effect is to lower your own hide skills. So if its only real purpose is to look nice, then it really should look nice. The lights as they are now blink faster than a christmas tree, and make the caster kind of look like a christmas tree, in a bad way.
