As recommended by Nomster, I searched under the forum but could not find it.

Dark Premonition does not seem to be overriding the DR from Dragonslayer (or Warlock). If this is a long time known bug, does any one know what it is?

If it's a bug awaiting to be fixed Ill delete my post

The Dark Premonition 15 Dr/- does not seem to be applying. After every casting, if I get hit, it uses the damage reduction from Dragonslayer (or warlock) and not the premonition. I don't even get a "XXX points remaining" from Dark Premonition in the combat log.

Dark premonition is not 15/-. It is 15/silver. Warlock's resistance is 5/cold iron.

Also It works fine with warlock/hellfire warlock.

I do remember some people complaining about dragonsslayer damage reduction, though.

That is true. It was someone "Drogo" that had the same issue with Dragonslayer's DR and
Dark Premonition. He rcred his character.

I am not saying you have to RCR. I think this was reported to the QC and will try to have it fixed. The problem is that all our focus is on sorting issues with the update, so fixing DS/DarkPremo might take some time

I think it was Daggo? Dwarven Defender DR did not stack/overwrote Dark Premonition and there was no way to fix it apparently. You'll have to avoid classes with Class-based DR (eg Dragonslayer).

Gah, I wish this bug was listed somewhere before I took it as my final dark invocation at lvl 25 and didn't realise it wasn't working till I passed lvl 26

As a fix can I get a DM IG to remove the Dragonslayer DR feat from my toon if I give them the code?

If not then I may RCR to rid myself of dragonslayer. I'd miss the fear immunity as its a big part of Barbaccas's mentality IG, but there's plenty of other build combo's for a fighter lock. Not sure I can ditch Dark Premonition though, I've only been picking defensive / melee based invo's to support the hideous blow. No dooms, chains, aoe's except for Caustic Web (pretty useless, but fits his RP/background) and Plague (RP insects as spiders. Useful, just have to watch what you cast it at ).

yes but you will just get them back if you level up bc the game will know its missing and replace it, but then you can just have it removed again...

I think it would help if the feat was made toggleable. Like blackguard's Aura of Despair.

doubtful that would help, bugs like that are usually because two things cant coexist at the same time regardless, kinda like the issue rangers had with hips
