1APR2016 UPDATE BUG THREAD

Use this thread for posting new bugs or changes in old bugs that you believe resulted from the big update published on 1Apr2016. Bold, yes, to try this on April Fools' Day. :?

Be on the look-out for strangeness with:
- half-drow heads
- missing/overwritten heads

Post Area problems in this Folder.

Post Quest problems in this Folder.

Post Automatic Down Loader (ADL) problems in this Folder. There were a lot in this update.

Post other problems in this thread.

first of all - many thxs for all the arduous work implementing and getting all these things to work. :D :D :D

however somethings are still of:
-Fav.Soul - Haste feat gives haste, fatigue, -2 dex,-2 str on activate, later after haste wears of all the malus stay until rest.

-Something is wrong with yuanti pureblood assassin death attack: got paralysed on successful roll: fortitude save vs paralysis: success (10+21=31 vs DC23) :!:

-Monks blazing aura gets dispelled.
-Dismiss spell - does not list any spells, that another party member did cast on me.
-Scroll of summon water elemental is missing its icon.

Sacred Fist does not get Lore: Religion as a class skill

Ranger Bladethirst (and I assume all other strike spells that use a stand in actor) still granting sneak / death attack damage.

While on my Sorcerer/Thaumateurge/Frost Mage today, I was running the Nashkel supplies quest back to Beregost, and was surprised to have half a dozen of Beregosts NPC citizens turn hostile and try to pummel my gnome as I ran towards the Inn :lol:

I'll try and give as much detail as I can about what buffs I had up. Also, and I don't know if this is relevant, I had just fought 3 wyverns, testing my bigbys spells on them and summoning 3 hands, before entering Beregost... and it occurs to me that I did hit my summoned bigbys hands with maximized ice storms and killed 1 or 2 of them in the process(as well as using maximized ice darts and magic missiles on the wyverns). Perhaps that had something to do with it?

In any case, the spells I had up were:

Prot. from evil, Imp. mage armor, Spiderskin, Mirror image, Extended Shield, Superior resistance, Extended Shadow Shield, Premonition, Energy immunity: fire, and Extended haste.

In addition to the above ^ post, I should also note that I had just run through Nashkel with all the same buffs up and no NPC's were hostile, which makes me suspect even more that the Beregost NPC's became so after having blasted my bigby summons with AOE's. Not all the NPC's were hostile though, the ones that became hostile were the ones that aren't vendors, guards, or quest givers.

It is apparently impossible to attack non-hostile celestial lion. As far as i know, this isn't a familiar/companion (isn't marked as such in description).

If it IS a familiar/summon, it should be marked as such.

Looks like it is reversed, because only after the update enchanted blade decided to stay in my inventory even after multiple rests. First time it ever happened to me.

Once again, my lolthite cleric is unable to cast any spells again except for spider shape. It's again the "forbidden deity" thing. Must have been slipped through one of the spellcasting fixes in the update.

Bard inspirations can't be cancelled anymore it seems, so when you turn on inspire jarring or inspire slowness you lose the benefit of other inspirations and can't get them back until reset.

The Second Impression feat seems to do nothing. There is no bluff roll following an appraisal from another player that beats your disguise.

Disguise DCs still broken. Ridiculously low DCs even when it does work, disguising as another race automatically sets your DC to 0.

That's all I can think of offhand.

Mass cure / healing spells are still not fixed. Still short distance around the caster only.

I didn't post about this in the other threads but I can confirm that the shield spell still stacks with the shield AC from a shield. I used a shield scroll if that makes a difference or not (doubt it).

Still seem to get crit sometimes while in stonebody. Dont remember being sneak attacked recently but I'll keep an eye out for it.

Does this count as a bug?

The arch-mage details on the forum here: http://bgtscc.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=49035, doesn't include the really sweet +1 DC buff feat the class says it has in the game. I forgot what it's called. It adds +1 DC to a school's spells after getting epic spell focus.

I tried counterspelling a few mob bosses' Mord but to no avail. My counterspell check is always 0. And it's not just Mords, regardless of enemy spell, my counterspell check is always 0. I'm using the free counterspell feat.


2. Invisible Needle doesn't work

Even though I have the requisite spells (Bigbys, Orb of Force etc), the combat log shows:
You do not have any valid spells that can trigger this ability.

UPDATE: Did some testing, this happens only after character is Morded.

Counterspelling is still broken.

Invisible needle doesn't fire after character is morded due to a failed counterspelling.

As mentioned, the character in question shouldn't fail the counterspelling check in the first place, but since the update, success in counterspelling is impossible! Caster Check is always 0.
Just checked again: Sadly, counterspelling is still broken. Caster Check is still 0. And after the failed counterspelling and my character gets morded, invisible needle doesn't fire anymore.

Not exactly sure on what happened but after the last update seems like my scimitar is permanently +5 with keen and massive criticals, even though last time i used Weapons of the deity on it was like 3 days ago ?

I tried resting several times to see if the effects faded but nope, i can't dismiss the spell as well, it's like it became part of the item.

Also on the Strike spells (Burning strike, blessed strike etc) is it intentional that the spell does not use the user's buffs, like it overrides all the weapons buffs that could be applied to the spell damage, if it's not then they are bugged.
