Hi, folks.
So, since CL and resistance to dispels has become, like. A humongous commodity to the average Joe caster trying to level, or take level dips here and there. I thought to bring up a few feats that were on a server I used to play.
I don't know if these feats are native to Kaedrin's Pack, or if they were programmed in by the server team, but I remember they were called 'Spell Girding'. I think they gave you a +2 (might've been 3?) to resist dispels effects, essentially granting you +2 CL in regards to keeping your spell effects up. This also worked across cross-classes, so if one were say, a cleric/wizard, they'd gain that +2 for both cleric and wizard. I don't know if there was a epic version of it or not, but there was a 'greater'.

Re: Suggestion: Spell Girding feats
It might not be a bad idea as it uses up a feat slot, though I feel that the bonus shouldn't exceed character level.

I have to agree with that statement. It really shouldn't be a means to just become 'indestructible' towards dispels, just a means for dip classes, should they choose the feats, to not become obnoxiously under powered due to a lack of CL in the face of dispel mobs.Grimcheese wrote:though I feel that the bonus shouldn't exceed character level.
