Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I heard that you need 30 clvs to to immune to greater dispel, but my question is, how many clvs do end game monsters have.
For instance, vault of the dead and ice giant stronghold, how many clvs do the dispellers there have?

doesn't really matter. Greater dispel caps at +20 so 20 CL gets the max bonus. The reason you've heard you need CL 30 is because Greater Dispel is 1d20+20 = 40 (max) so you need a DC 41 in order to be immune to dispel. CL29 = DC of 11+29=40, thus when you are targeted by a greater dispel each buff has a 1 in 20 chance of being dispelled (but we all know the enemy will roll more 20's than it should) so basically if you have 10 buffs and CL29 you can bet a greater dispel from a level 20 + caster is going to remove at least 1 or 2 wards from you.

VoD I think has CR ~23 - 26 mobs, IIRC but I may be wrong here...

Really Caster Level 28 or 29 is not going to make your build no longer viable, but anything less is probably going to cause at least some inconveniences on a regular basis.
