item appearance

hey, how do we change the appearance of non-mundane items? specifically, in this case, i bought a cloak of the tinker(er) and am not able to change it's appearance using the normal change appearance options. thanks in advance!

Visit maltsz's sshop in BG. Talks to Maltz Select. "I want to change appearance of regeneration cloak/mithril armor".

Anything that is not mithril/regen cloak can be changed via appearance changer. Press button on bottom left of the screen, select "Appearance changer" from menu.

Have in mind that some of the regen cloaks level restriction gets higher when changed. From lvl5 to lvl7.

I thought they put in a warning about that when using the changer in Maltz. I will have to check into that and follow up with the Dev Team. If you catch a DM in game, ask them to swap it out for you if you are still to low a level to use the cloak with the apperanced changed. You will just have to wait till you level up to change the appearance then.
