Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Hi all,

I hated how small the font sizes were so I found a solution here: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/44788 ... text-size/

Go into Neverwinter Nights 2\UI\default.

Open fontfamily.xml in notepad.

Edit the pointsizes for NWN1_Dialog and NWN2_Dialog.

Save as ALL FILES and Say YES to Overwrite

If any are uncomfortable doing this the file that you can download from here https://www.mediafire.com/?uct6b60r3q5uc25
Just paste it in your Neverwinter Nights 2\UI\default and accept the overwrite and your done. Your UI will look like this:

Even though I am the system administrator of this PC it won't let me modify the file, save over it, or save anything at all in that folder. Not sure if it is related to windows 10 or not. Any thoughts? My eyes would thank you for the assistance.

Windows 10 is weird, I had to right click the file >> properties >> security >> users >> find my user name >> allow full access >> open in notepad. My account is both an administrator and a user, but it only lets me log in as a user.

Careful what you change in the font family i changed to much so i can no longer see text in my PC tools

I got it working, but yes I could see how doubling the font size could turn out badly. I must made it a little bit larger so I don't have to push my face up to the screen to read the text in 1920 x 1080 resolution.

That's why I did my friend. Its makes the game SOO much more enjoyable. Sorry I didn't see your earlier posts, I was checking and never saw any news so I just figured people had figured out on their own.

This is really the only big problem with this... If someone would modify the UI of the PC Tools then this would be great!

Just saw this and its something I've been looking for for sometime. But your link doesn't work and I don't appear to have the fontfamily.xml file at all...
