Well, I tested it today, and wizard DC is broken too.

My Vamp feast droped form 36 to 24, and Wail and Finger DCs dropped by 3

Pretty much this, just taking the Epic Focus out, and putting Vamp feast in.

Regarding spells: I am certain that the devs know how to calculate the DCs. This issue was happening since the first update was implemented but i guess not many noticed it. Trying to debug it, it seems as if one of the many CL boosting feats ( spellpower, Blood component, PSC etc ) even though the increase the CL correctly, it doesnt count towards the bonus DC from epic CL.

Regrding Epic spells: As rasael explained this was an issue with the latest update. It is a needed fix since it cn fix bugs tht existed since day one.

Isn't there a separate server for this kind of testing, though?

There is but it doesnt run all the time. It needs time for maintenance and updates.

We have server 2 sometimes, when Duster synced it and boots it up.

But because the applications are hosted on the same server they compete for resources during boot up. Which is not ideal. I'd love a proper testing environment, but if I had the choice I'd still invest it in a better primary server...

I would guess this is similar to the cleric DC issue in that certain PrC's aren't counted for CL. So looks like this particular case, red wizard or archmage isn't adding their CL to the CL or DC computation. As for the epic spell, it looks like it is using charisma instead of intelligence but I assume from previous posts this is a known issue.

About the spell DCs: It most certainly is an Epic CL DC calclulation error. From testing it seems either the AM's spellpower is not working as intented or the PSC calculations regarding DCs.

About the epic spells, it seems that there is an error in the DC calculation. Epic spells should not get anything less than 25DC no matter which ability they use.

Just a quick heads up my wizard DCs are higher than they should be since yesterday

Finger of Death is now at 40 but should be at 36 which is equal to the dcs of my illusion spells (i have epic spell focus illusion). I suppose that the spell focus feats are buggy and count towards all of the spell schools?

Besides my Illusion DCs are also one point higher than they should be. Soli is at 40 but should be at 39.

What about a -1 ability bonus? Would that give a 24? For instance, you have a high int but an 8 cha. It is supposed to use int but uses cha instead.

That could explain it. However i casted a vamp feast on a high CHA sorcerer and got a DC of 24.

May it is trying to use wisdom instead? Any other stats than charisma at an 8?

Another heads up my Wizards DCs are now way lower than they should be.

My Mass Blindness is at 35 should be at 40...

It seems epic CLs are not taken into account when it comes to DC calculation.

This issue is being looked at and is close to be fixed. Some aspects of this problem are already fixed, while some others ( such as epic spell DCs and wizard DCs ) need some finetuning. In the end everything will be the same as before and finally sorcerers will be able to pick epic spells on non-sorcerer levels with the correct DCs.
