My character's caster level is now wrong as of the date of this post. I have not leveled or rcr'd since but my spells that have greater effects based on caster level are less than they were previously. The previous values matched the spells descriptions. I have only tested a few spells thus far, namely greater magic weapon and shield of faith.

We will need to know your character's level and classes to see what's wrong.
Can you provide those? (screenshot of your charactersheet?)

Before the last update PSC was allowing casters below 30 to have a CL higher than their HD. It couldnt go above 30 though.

For example a Cleric17/Monk3 with PSC should have 20CL. Instead he was having 21. ( however that could not go above 30 since the initial PSC fix )

With the latest fix everything about PSC seems to be fixed. That could be the case of why the durations are a bit lower and why the GMW, shield of faith etc buffs are lower.

If you give us your build breakdown and what stats you get from the buffs, that could save us time from testing every cleric PRC again.

I posted something similar in the spell bug post about Spell Resistance. This seems to give the most accurate picture of what your Caster Level is since it just adds 12 to that number and you can see it on your character sheet. Without divine spell power activated and no other buffs, when I casted Spell Resistance, I ended up with a 36 SR which would be a Caster Level of 24! My build is 3 rogue/7 cleric/10 morninglord/10 hierophant with practiced spellcaster and spell power 3. So I should have a CL of 33 (or 34 if the practiced spellcaster bug isn't quite fixed). So it looks like it is subtracting either 9 or 10 from the CL somehow. I then activated divine spell caster (with advanced) and got a +7 CL buff. I recast SR and my SR went up to 43 which is exactly 7 more than before so we know divine spell caster is working. But still looks like it is subtracting 9 or 10 from the CL.

edit: So I tried the same test on another cleric I have which is 6 monk/8 cleric/10 sacred fist/6 hierophant with practiced spellcaster and spellpower 3. This should give her a CL of 29 total. When I cast spell resistance with her, it came out to 41 which is correct. Maybe certain PrC's aren't being counted for caster level? Not sure why one would be 9/10 off and one would be correct.

2nd edit: Tested the same on a druid I have with Spell Resistance spell. Her build is 12 druid/5 dragonslayer/9 hospitaler/4 hierophant with practiced spellcaster and 2 spell power. This should give a CL of 30. However, when I cast SR, it came out as a 37 which is a 25 CL. The only PrC I have that gives 5 CL is hospitaler. So if I had to guess, it isn't counting hospitaler or morninglord into CL calculations.

Divine favor is giving my CL 12 (without practiced spell caster) cleric a whopping +1 to AB and damage. It should be +3. Just tested it again at the time of this post. GMW is giving him a +1 EB. Something is not right.

EDIT - It looks like it is not counting my morninglord levels at all toward my Caster Level. Maybe the feats that you take when you get a PRC to select which caster to advance are not working?

Did you select the Cleric Progression on your first morninglord level?

Yes. Like I said it was working fine the whole time. This is a new hiccup. Cleric is the only casting class I have access to and I took the feat 6 levels ago when I got my first morninglord level. The spells have been working fine until today. I just double checked and the feat is still listed in my feat list.

Not counting Morninglord was also my theory. It also isn't counting hospitaler. There could be other PrC's that it isn't counting which be the reason some arcane casters are also low on DC, etc. Anyone with a low DC, please post what your complete build is so we can see which PrCs are in common and maybe help point the devs/testers in the right area.

My complete build is monk 2/cleric 5/morninglord 6. I am getting CL 5 out of this. I do not have practiced spell caster feat. I just realized that although durations and effects are not being calculated correctly, I do still have the correct number of spells and level of spells for a CL 11 caster.

Edit - I just took a 7th level of morninglord and it did not add any CL so leveling did not fix the issue.

Nice. I didn't mean to spam the forum. I was just trying to provide as much detailed information as possible to try and be useful.

it seems that sacred fist levels arent counting, but hierophant;s are. (only a guess tho as i cant test for certain)
