That simple. Let us really use the 2 form changin spells that warlocks can get. They are alreayd limited in the amount they can choose. I would love to have a warlock with word of changing, but it is useless without casting abilities.

It is not, it has plenty of non-spellcasting uses. (I had shapechanging warlock)

Popping traps and regenning health is not very useful. At least let hideous blow work with it.

It is a combat form with high durability, pretty much and it works well as a tank.

The best thing that could happen to it would be ability to equip weapons.
And yes, hideous blow would be great too.

I just highly doubt that it will happen.

I just don't see why druids get it, and warlocks can't.

Well, druid forms appear to be weaker than warlock's cornugon, and Dragon Form requires level 27.

You can also cast warlock invocations as a polymorphed druid, if you make druid/warlock... but only in a wild shape form.

because its a druid ability, is the most simple answer

i do miss casting in polymorph forms from nwn1 tho, however each form had its own personal ability that you could cast and it cut out everything else, so its not as if the limitation is far from that; there is just no option for forms with casting ability to actually cast their abilities

so until that can be changed only druids will be able to use spells while shifted

Warlocks are very powerful as is, hence I also doubt this will happen. I play a melee-lock (without Word of changing) but if they did give me Hideous Blow as an option whilst shapechanged then the PvE content may as well pack up its bags and go home
