Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

As the title implies, I need to look into creating the most skull crushing of paladins. I had a discussion with another player who said paladins are weak especially with new dispell changes. I dont entirely believe it, as long as we have Divine Champion fighter paladins and Ultra smiters. We are looking for a new build for them, any suggestions or ideas?

Paladins suffered a pretty big hit in the last update both due to the dispel changes and buff nerfs but they are not entirely useless. What type of paladin are you looking at? constant damage or epic smiter?.

Mostly what I am looking for is an array of different viable paladin builds to look through. Epic Smiters are great, but they arent very flexible. Still I am open to give them a look and hear why they are viable. A friend of mine is trying to adapt to the Update with their paladin. This is my way of trying to lend them a hand

Does it need to be dominantly paladin, or just have some paladin levels?

Minimum 3 paladin levels or at least divine champion levels

4 paladin 26 favored soul, Most optimal cheese out there.
