Hello,
I wanted to get a quick(ish) idea of how many active PCs of the evil-minded sort, are on BGTSCC at the moment. Tallying via a Vault count doesn't really count, when considering actual activity. Please add to the Poll for that to happen.

The impetus behind this Post is to gather value in population, to influence the possibilities for collaborative RP that reflects the interests of the evil-aligned.

There is the option to fill in a hesitancy to RP an evil-minded Character. If that is something that fits your position as a Player, it would be helpful to gain insight on that.

Wouldn't it be helpfull to be able to fill in if you don't have an evil toon as well, as to give indication as to how many evil players there are, opposed to active goodie players, reading this post?

Are there actual "evil players" vs. "good players?"

To get a good statistical cross section you should ask something along the lines of "How many characters do you actively play? How many are of an evil alignment?"

Difficult to convey in this type of poll, I know. But right now to are going to get a 100% evil count, without the "other alignment" count.

Perhaps a "What percent of your active characters are evil?" Would be about the best you can do.

Then just list percentages.

Each vote is a physical player. With this, you could get a close approximation of percentage of evil characters.

For me:
1 Good
1 Neutral
1 Evil

As was stated in the OP, it is not about learning how many active Players there are in general, or how many PCs a Player is "managing."

It is rather obvious by looking at the SCRY, the percentage of daily active PCs that are active members of the IC known good-aligned factions of the Server.

Evil-minded PCs outside of IC known evil-minded factions are rather difficult to assess.

It is my hope this Poll can better reflect what the actual population is, in particular, with evil-minded PCs. As long as Players vote honestly. Even if the final amount is not the entire Server—as many Players may eschew these Forums—to learn that 10, 20, 30 daily active PCs of evil-minded intent are on BGTSCC, would be quite the eye-opener.

I play 90% evil.. Many of you old vets have ran into my toons in the past. I literally quit playing 3 times now because of lack of DM support and there for lack of epic items. All the old school players I use to play with had some ridiculous DM event gear. And when they come hunting.. And the power curve is scewed against you.. It really beats the fire out of you.
I with say, I have had some great evil events I have started while the goodies get to rp the event and I have to watch. But those are few and far between.
FYI: Akroma was responsible for the epic bone elemental attacking the fai. Your welcome paladins!

There should be an option for "Has Evil - But is a UD Toon so doesn't have any exposure to general population" as my Orc is evil and I play him weekly but he'll rarely if ever have contact with surfacers. It kind of skews the poll.

I can understand that having an Evil-aligned Toon in the UD is more standard in general, and that might be or create an added frustration in that the evil/good, pro/antagonist aspect is flipped, or, even more skewed because as you say, there is little to no chance your UD Toon will see the Surface.

But whether or not a PC is UD/Surface, seeing the numbers behind Alignment preference—in this case Evil—might support IC, IG avenues for the like-minded to meet (and I do mean "avenues" in both practical and conceptual terms).

So vote anyway Flasmixman!

I love reading what baddies do, due to it never getting to the forums sometimes.
