This golden child of the Sun is often found smiling his shining grin whenever he can. If not a paragon of Lathanderite youthfulness, he's at least as handsome and even rash as some might assume.

He hails from Mulhorand by birth but details of his transfer to the Sword Coast is unknown by only but a few and those of lawfully good connections. As a tiny boy of successful merchants, his home was attacked and set ablaze. A young man happened upon the scene, a fledgling Lathanderite himself, only to find the mother screaming for help from a few floors above. She told the stranger to catch her son as the blaze consumed floor after floor. The young man was scared witless but prepared to save whoever he could, by Lathander's grace. The woman dropped her child from high above with a gasp as she watched him drop. The span of distance meant an eon of time before the young man successfully caught the prized package. This same fellow called out for the woman to leap. The home was on fire beyond any safety within. She took a breath and leapt to the level ground below. Whoever watched over the mother that night let her fall on her neck, ending her last day among the living.

The young man with a new found child went to the nearest temple of Lathander. He gave him over for raising among other children. He stayed nearby, though, and as the child grew, the young man taught what he could of Lathander. The boy, handsome from always, was usually respectful but had all the patience of a morning. He served Lathander with charity and compassion which overflowed to those around. The young man eventually stopped showing, the reason never given to young Brevin.

As he expanded in years and ability, he was summoned for examination at the Dome of The Rose in Athkatla. His journey to Amn was uneventful, even peaceful. His talents for the unusual was cultivated, encouraged, and also contrained. As he grew in ability, lower leaders felt Brevin should be sent forth to find a need for his new training. This was certainly a test but also an opportunity for the sun to rise in a place of darknes...

What grace. What beauty. What strength. If I could love a woman she would be like her. Her history is twined with the Knight Commander's as well as her beloved home. Anything between us is something never to occur but she sets a level of desire for many woman to follow. I am honored to be among her ranks as well as those precious within the temple.

Never could a woman be so loving than this. Her patience, her love, her gentleness, her inspiration and grace have given me so much hope, I find few who instill such awe and courage within me. Many adventurers will find her willing to provide for their needs before hers or even those she loves without their even knowing. This is something I have witnessed first hand even though others may have not. If ever accused of being unloving it could only be for the ignorant, cold, or unloving.

Words are few for one so young and yet he feels so fatherly to me. He commands respect by all who encounter him. He draws in the needy like the dawn draws those desperate for light. He has no words of hate on his lips. He never draws a blade without need. He suffers the pains of martyrdom nearly alone. There are many who have attempted to attain his intimate confidence yet assume wrongly that they are perhaps the one to do so. I have only seen one in person with such connection but who am I to say?

He's a loyal pig with armor.
