How many are still experiencing that last location doesn't always save?

Me.

AFAIK, using "Save Location" has been buggy for years. Actually resting (take-a-knee) is more reliable. For now, consider this is a BG Feature until someone has the time to find and decipher the underlying code.

Resting + Saving doesn't often work these days, either.

This is separate from the custom Save Character unreliability, though it might affect it negatively since spamming that a few times to my memory used to have a bigger chance of saving you than it does now. As stated resting is currently no guarantee for a save; it saves in some instances but not all.

I have this vague impression this has gotten better (less fugue trips & XP loss problems) with higher rest save chances but that it still persists.

It seems very random. There haven been times when the last save is the rest you last did (for example rest just before reset) but also just as often the save is from several rests ago. Last time my last save was about 3-4 rests ago after reset and I don't rest often.

Yep, it's a no go for me. Hasn't saved with clicks or rests all the time. Hit and miss, and I'm not the only one.

Last reset gave me no option for returning to location even though I rested beforehand.

Last Location saving is still not working consistently. Sometimes it saves, sometimes it doesn't on Rest.

I just got offered my old location despite resting before I logged off. Anyone else still have this happening?

I find that the Save Character function in the PC tools gives somewhat more reliable results. Resting just before a reset (ie in the 2 min countdown) doesn't seem to work terribly well any more.
