Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

What is a good build for this? I went to the data base but I did not find any to fit it. Some was close. But I know the members of this server know how to build well. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The problem is simple - Elves are better with bows and Hin with slings. If you really want a Hin Shortbow user then I would go F12/Asn9/EA5/AK(WoD)4 or F8/Asn8/EA4/AK10.

For a Hin Rogue, TWF is better, but if you insist on Bow then you probably have nothing better than Ro16/Asn9/EA5.

I also made this one to go with the OOBI class, but when the big update landed the OOBI class got nerfed significantly for no reason so it's a bit more like a soggy noodle launcher now. I had great fun playing the build in its original incarnation, though, and folks I partied with would actually comment at how well it did as an actual sniper because this build works on the OOBI Ranged Precision skill, letting you land sneak attacks from 120 ft.

If I were to rebuild it for the downgraded OOBI class, I would rush for OOBI 10 as fast as possible, ie. level progression of Rogue 7 -> SD 3 -> OOBI 10 -> Rogue 10 because with the 'new' OOBI changes you want Extended Sharpshooting ASAP (granted at OOBI 10) or bust.

Okay so I should make the hin with a sling then. Hmmm would altering the builds with sling hinder any thing?

You could go Ro10/Asn10/F4/WS6 for example or drop Fighter and go Asn9/EA5. You don't have to take Warsling Sniper, but it seems a shame not to.

Go 8 fighter with 5 EA (Insert extra classes) and use a crossbow plus get the 2 crossbow sniper feats.
