I dont know about you guys, but I was laughing really hard when Hodor died. His death is supposed to be emotional, but they, at the same time, explain the "hodor" joke we've been hearing for the past 5 years ; hodor means "hold the door"!
Explaining a joke, setting it up for 5 years prior, and mixing it with an emotional death just doesn't work lol... They might as well strip him naked and dangle his manhood as he holds the door just to add a third shocking element to his death scene, I mean why not!

Didn't laugh when I saw it, myself. I'd heard some spoiling beforehand and was worried about having another lame death scene, since GoT's done a lot of those lately. I was very very pleasantly surprised as it ended up being easily the best and most emotional death scene the show's had IMO, and one of the best scenes in general.

I cried so much. D:
Not because of the actual death. I'm used of deaths in GoT.
It's the fact that young Hodor saw his death trough Bran when he was a kid, and his only purpose in life was living up to this moment, when he's sacrified.
I mean, a 30 years old man who foresee his own death is something. But show a 10 years old kid his own death, it's... it's so sad.

GoT messes with my emotions way too much.
...that moment when you realized what "hodor" meant.

Re: Hodor! (Moderator Edit: Game of Thrones Spoilers!)
But ask yourself this....
Did Hodor see his death because it was inevitable, or did Bran, projecting in the past, cause Hodor to go all simple, because of the future events that were occurring?
I mean... when Bran looks at past events, he is just a spectator... except when the King Walker decided to get in his face... and then again with Hodor as a child. Maybe they aren't just seeing what happened, but have the ability to influence past events.
Wrap your head around that.
