*A bald young man with a unkempt bright orange beard approaches. About his neck is a copper symbol of the Morninglord. He asks after the belt that the would be merchant is hawking.*

"Blessings of the dawn be upon you, stranger. I am Kellan, a humble pilgrim in service to the Lord of the Morning. The girdle you display there has caught my eye. Might I ask what price you hope to have for it?"

The man looks up, coppered eyes staring blankly at the voice. "I am not an experienced merchant, and do not pretend to even know how to haggle for I have not done it before. I can only go on historical tales with similiar belts. But as I said, I am no merchant so please, make an offer.

But...i would hurry and i would speak true for the shadows are always calling and the offers are tempting."

*The young pilgrim studies the belt for a moment, trying to come up with some idea of its value.*

"I am no merchant either, stranger. I can offer one-hundred bags to you for the belt. Likely this is less than others could offer. Most of my coin goes to the church and I have been allowed to keep only a limited amount to equip and provision myself."

"I once knew a Lathanderite." His tone goes sad and he pauses momentarily.

"A fine man indeed."

After another long contemplative pause, he speaks "If another does not show interest in the next 24 hours with an offer i can accept, I am willing to part with this belt for your offer. Let's just say I am fond of your God."

*The monk smiles broadly at the encouraging mention of his God.*

"Sir, I appreciate your glad mention of the Lord of Light. Would that I had more to offer, I would do so gladly in his name. I do not wish you to take less than what you seek for your wares. Surely there are those of greater means than I that walk these same roads."

"Greetings, sir" says an air genasi. "I heard from two lads speaking near a stall that you have extraordinary items, let me have a look please." He looks at the mithral fullplate, shaking lightly his head and turns to the ring. He gives a small smile looking at it, then turns to the auctioner : "Let me put 200 bags of gold for it."

A tall woman in ragged looking clothes approaches the man and his goods. Her gaze lingers on that fine armor for a blink, but then focus on the belt.

"Fortune seem to smile on us today, as i have such a quivered belt and i would gladly trade if for that belt of yours ?"

The trader Damian interjects.

"I'm also in possession of said crossbower's belt. That and a hundred bags for the monk belt of yours."
