Can the assassin Spellbook count towards prc requiring from 1-4th level spells to be chosen?
Furthermore, what if your assassin level 6 (3ed level spellbook), pick ASoC, can you then choose casting progression as assassin?
And... the DC of Death-attack is Intelligence based correct?

No, the Assassin spellbook does not count. Else you would probably see a few Assassin/Arcane Tricksters. As well as Assassin/Arcane Archers.
The DC for Death Attack is INT based, yes.

My bad. I forgot that was changed...and therefore, another point for Assassin being OP for archers! lol.
