Well first and foremost, WELCOME! Always a pleasure to have new fodder...er players.

Re: New to the server!
Welcome to the server, Radiant Skyy! I hope you enjoy your time here.
There used to be a helpful "getting started" post that some of our players had taken the time to put together and proliferate to newcomers, and if someone has a copy of said post I expect it would be helpful here.
But otherwise, my advice would be to familiarize yourself with the rules:
Server Rules
Forum Rules
PVP Rules
DM Rulings
And, for your first few levels, explore the city of Baldur's Gate to pick up a few quests, and go north of the city (just one map north) through the Palace District gates to fight low-level wolf and spider spawns, as well as to find a cave with some bandits in it. After those prove too easy for you, there's also a graveyard east of the city (out the East Gate district).
Those areas should help you to get to level 3-4 and maybe familiarize yourself with the server and some of its players in the process. But if you have any questions, be sure to ask them either here or in game. We have a pretty helpful player base and they usually go out of their way to make sure newcomers feel welcome here.
If you're starting in the Underdark, be aware it's a little more challenging at low levels, but manageable; I would ask a player down there to help you out with a short low-level tour though.

The Underdark can be pretty harsh for newbies. I would recommend getting used to the server somewhere on the Surface first.

Welcome to the server! Also as others have said. The UD is not a friendly place for beginning players. I learned that the hard way when I made my first character on the server. If you see Unen online do not hesitate to ask any questions of me!

Surface or UD, you see Lux, you RUN! ( just a friendly piece of advice . . . the rest of the community is really nice and helpful though! )LuxA wrote:I'm sure I don't know what you mean...Cretus wrote:...
