A couple of question about a paladin build

I have expended some time with the builder figuring out some possible paladin builds for an alt I have in mind and I ended with two possible ones: a 26P / 4F or a 26P / 4AK. The first thing that makes me doubt (apart than I never played neither pallies nor AKs) is if it would be within lore to mix Paladin and Anointed Knight classes, because of the morale code of paladins. Just as a note, the general background of the char would fit on the AK class.
Now about the mechanical part... I decided for a EDM paladin, but I like the idea of adding Shield Slam too. It ends up with 22 natural STR, so this means a save every round with a DC31 + STR mod buffs or the enemy is dazed 1 round (is this right?). I am wondering if the feat is worth the investment, taking into account that it requires two more feats to qualify (Shield Bash and Shield Charge) and that, as I read on some other post, EDM doesn't work on the shield attack (correct me if I am wrong at this point).
Thanks in advance!

MaArms 4/5 is another good option.
Keep in mind that you want Agile Shield Fighter or TWF to negate the attack penalty for shield bash. (There are bracers with it sold at Beregost.)
Shield Slam is nice, but feat intensive and with your str-bonus i'm not sure its worth it.

With +8 from Paladin buff stacking the PC will have 30 STR so I think it could work if that is the route you want to take. Not the most 'powerful' thing to do, especially when you're rocking EDM, but certainly viable.
If you want to post your build I could take a closer look later today.

I considered P26 / 4MaA because of MaA goodies, but didn't convince me.
25P / 5MaA is worse. It trades one epic bonus feat at 26P for a bonus feat at 5MaA and loses 1CL.

Thanks for the info Theodore. Just as a side note, casting Bull's and Rightgeous Fury add a +8 to STR (the second stacks, as described on the forums), so that makes a DC35. I am still not totally sure if that is enough.

Not my intention to make the most powerful char around, just that I think the mix could be fun to play

I have no account on the builder, so I can not post it. I decided some time ago to not create one; I have too many accounts scattered through the Internet.
EDIT - The AK one has the basics: PA, DM, EDM, Div.Shield, Extend, 30CL. It can raise Tumble to 30 for some extra nice AC in AK levels (which makes it a bit harder to level). The F one trades Iron Will (prerequisite for AK) for Luck of Heroes and could take either the Heavy Armor Opt. feats (ending with the very same AC than the other) or trade them for others (IPA, etc.); I have not decided it yet in case I choose this one.
Thanks both!

I am now playing a pal and also have question regarding its build, so I post here to seek advice.
My question is - is extended spell feat useful for pal? I mean pal only has max lvl 4 spell and limited slots. Pal then can only extend lvl 3 spells, and with that limited the choice of lvl 4 spells. Would the feat worth it?
