Saving the chars before turning back the server

Well, I lost a good cleric ring because you rolled back the server vault too. Wouldn't it have been possible to save the chars first?

It was my decision not to save the characters.

The transition broke several character files and multiple people wound up with duplicate characters, extra XP, and so on. I made the call that going backwards in time 15-16 hours was better than the alternative.

I apologize for any heartache this causes, and I alone am to blame for the decision.
