Brexit Vote Results

So, keep in mind when reading this that posts discussing politics and political leanings are against the server forum rules, and this thread is not about the politics involved.

Rather, I find myself woefully ignorant of EU trade laws and policies, and I don't quite understand why the internet is telling me this is such an economic disaster for Britain? Does the EU place additional tariffs on non-EU European countries? Why is the value of the Bristish pound so heavily tied to it's membership in the EU, or is this just sensationalist media garbage designed to sell papers and get views?

Any of you Limeys want to educate me? (If you can't do so publicly without fear of breaking the "No political discussion rule" feel free to PM me, I don't mind.)

I think this post can move on down to the Community threads found here http://www.bgtscc.net/viewforum.php?f=136...

I assume it's ok to talk about it if a moderator moved the thread rather than close it.

This is fear mongering. Nobody knows the real truth. The truth will reveal itself over time. I believe they will go in a low for a while, and they will bounce back in a few years. Today, rich countries can go to war and their citizens are still eating hamburgers and pizza every day. Nothing to worry about.

I am actually curious how those that are in the directly effecting countries feel? I know how how the U.S. experts feel as its my field of work.. but no idea how actual Brexit related citizens feel.

I just moved it , so that it is located in the correct sorting area. Don't want to put the biographies with the autobiographies... phft.

Locking the thread for violating forum rule #4.

Intentions aside, this is not the proper forum for discussion controversial political topics.
