Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I am planning of building a caster type cleric with cleric 16/ Warpriest 4 /Hierophant 10. Concept of a Tormite cleric channeling divine fury (evocation divine damage spell?) to destroy enemy. Haven't tried a caster based cleric before, can anyone give me some suggestions? Thanks!

Currently I am planning to take:
lvl1: Spellcasting Prodigy, Abled learner
lvl3: Combat Casting (qualitfy for Warpriest)
lvl6: Combat Expertise
lvl9: Practiced Spellcaster
lvl12: Extend Spell (qualify for Hierophant)
lvl15: Spell Focus Evocation
lvl18: Improved Combat Expertise (for more AC?)

I can think of these feats so far, any other feat is a must for caster cleric?

For Hierophant, I will take Empower Spell, Maximize Spell, Spellpower*3.

For Epic Feats, I will take Epic Wisdom mostly and perhaps some Epic Spells.

Not geared to Mithral Plate either; not keen on stat split. But Monk dip is less CL, so not keen on that.

Not keen on Warpriest. Dragonslayer is better (Tumble for 2 more AC).

Dragonslayer has quite awesome goodies for a dip of 3lvls. But as you said I will hv plenty of AC already is another 2AC from tumble necessary? (I should hv 10 with my build)

The requirement of dragonslayer is dodge and ironwill. For dodge I will need 13dex and another feat slot, for ironwill I can change my domain to law and heal/strength (dragonslayer already gives you aura of courage) to get it so that's not a problem. But that 13dex will only be just filler, besides dex bonus for fullplate, that comes from sacrificing con and/or int. Getting dodge also takes away one feats, as you suggest it maybe Improved spell focus or ICE.

Another goodie from dragonslayer is spell penetration. The question is how CL is calculated? And how does it work for spells? I am new to caster type in nwn2, so I hv no idea how it works. Can someone elaborate on this?
For my build it should hv 32CL? (cleric16+Wp2+Hierophant10+practiced spellcaster4)
With dragonslayer it will be 35CL? (cleric17+Dragonslayer2+Hierophant10+practiced spellcaster4+spell penestration2)
So what is the difference between the two?

The practised spellcaster exploit has been plugged now. PSC will only net you 2 CL for either build. PSC only accounts for non-progression levels.

Domain changes to Law (for ironwill) and Healing

Ability changes to:
Str 10
Dex 13
Con 14
Int 14
Wis 17
Cha 8

Hospitaler for combat feats (Dodge & CE) to fill the requirement of Dragonslayer
Hierophant for Empower Spell, Maximize Spell, Spellpower*3 (perhaps changing Empower or Max spell for Faith Healing?) Does Empower and Maximize spell useful for Cleric spell?

How about this build? The hosiptaler's bonus feats makes rooms for more spellcasting feats and should make this build a better caster, with healing domain and augmented healing it can also be a decent healer

I knew if I dropped enough hints someone would get this class combination eventually. My Cleric has these classes and I think they give everything.

BTW Dex 13 means that if you are lucky enough to get Mithral Plate you have even more AC.

btw how are the augmented healing, healing domain's empower healing and Hierophant's faith healing work? Do they stack? And how do they multiply? And do they (exept healing domain) work on Heal and Mass heal?

Don't know - haven't got that far yet! Took Spell Power on my first 2 Hierophant Feats.

understandable, it is a long way for my build as well as this is only my alt, got bored of my pally and wanna try something new!
