Why can't I see images?

Mostly they all just say 'Image' instead of an actual picture. This is true for the ones I post, too...

Anything blocking those sites on your computer? A browser add-on or something?

Worth a shot to clear browser cookies and cache. Something you should do every now and then anyway

Of all photohostings I know, I don't see images hosted only on photobucket, and for some reason most people here use exactly it. Its most frustrating.

Shad try checking to see if that site is blocked on your fitewall?

It is not. Switching it temporary off, as well as switching temporary off AdBlock does nothing.

If successful the image is intercepted by software on your machine.

Its not that simple.

It not just pings.

If I open html page source and dig image url from there - .and from there possibly - ".jpg" one - it is displayed. But embedded - does not work. And on .html page - does not work. Some scripts on their side does not work properly. Why they make complicated these things that can be simple and work for everione? Maybe they don't get some session variables or properties they like? Who knows.

After all, with no Any other photohosting I have problem getting embedded images work. So I just gave up on them.

Its not that simple.
It not just pings.

It helped to determine it's a problem on your machine and not network reach ability.
