Where Do I Buy Mundane Gear?

There's no store in the OOC room to purchase from. Maltz and the FAI generic merchant only sell +1 gear. The Discount Clothing place only sells basic clothing. I recall Maltz at one point having a mundane gear guy there too but there's no such NPC there now.

There's a merchant in the East Farmlands, in the corner between the transition to the undead area and the road to the bridge.

It might not be a bad idea to add a map marker over the basic item merchant, and maybe an extra convo option to Malt's where you can ask about mundane gear and he redirects you to the farmlands bazaar?

^ Good suggestions. I also wouldn't mind cloning the shop to Maltz as a side-option (a la "this stuff is too pricy, can I see the bargain bins?"
) if that's not too tricky a to-do. I tend to find that redundancies are usually more helpful than harmful with things like this.

Blunt the Basic Item Merchant used to be in maltz weapon shop! He was moved to the farmlands a while ago for reasons I am unaware of.

Probably so that Characters that had no business being inside the Gate, could still access the basic/beginning merchant of the Server.

Soubar's general items merchant kinda nullifies that need now to an extent. Blunt could technically be sent back to Maltz's and increase BG traffic again as lowbies go there to sell from having looted the graveyard.

when i first started playing i had trouble finding where to buy basic items. spent the whole first day just looking for a place to get items, and didnt know how to ask people yet.
