A Ranger's Wares - [Eastern Farmland]

Around Baldur's Gate, by a well-worn tent, neatly laid out on top of a bedroll, are a few choice items. Nearby there is a sign that reads: "Items for sale/trade. If opting for trade, please bring relevant equipment that a longsword wielding ranger can use. If opting for gold, make an offer, merchant has right to refuse any offer. "

"hey ranger! Are you inside the tent? i've got something you might be interested in and i would like to buy those shield *he points the tower shield* , otherwise i got also some good old gold coins!"

An Earth Genasai in black robes approaches and speaks in a hoarse whisper,

"I'd make an offer on those boots (of +3 dodge). How does say 20 bags sound?"

*Nods* "Ah, good sir. It is a fine blade indeed. See here the glint in the metal's edges when you are looking from this angle. I am sure this sword will serve you will when you need it. I happen to find it in the depths of Nashkel Mine. It was a fierce fight indeed." *Pauses for a bit*
"Ah..such a good memory..I am willing to sell it for a fair price. Name me an offer"

The big man offers his hand. "Name's Vahr. I've not the faintest clue vhat vould be a fair offer. I've seen a stout sell a similar quality blade of smaller cast to my mate for twelve thousand. I don't know if he paid over or under though. You tell me merchant."
