I am a little confused why a rage focused class doesn't actually give rage progression? I thought I would create a poll to get a community consensus.

Should bear warrior get the standard every 4 levels of rage progression in line with Barbarian?
Example: DSM and warlock blast dice continue progression.

I voted yes, because, why not. More power to them, it can't hurt and it'll make the few players that use it happy.

Though, they are pretty powerful as is. And they get extend rage I and II, which can be considered a form of rage progression! And it lightens up the feat load (taking all 4 is almost necessary, if not 100% necessary on a barbarian). A good comparison to draw on is hellfire warlock, I suppose. It doesn't progress blast dice, it progresses caster level, and it offers an "alternative" form of eldrich blast. Bear warrior is fine as is, its actually more than fine. Its a really good class. One of the best classes BGTSCC has ever implemented, in its current state.

Meta, while I agree with your points.. The class is horrendous out of rage form. Fighter is almost a necessity for this class to be decent with unarmed feats. So it takes away from rage progression. So anything to help stay shifted longer is better tk the classes play style IMHO.
The class is super buggy too I've noticed. Just figured a little bump (2.5 extra rage per day) would be a nice little addition. Even at half rage progression and getting a single extra rage would be beneficial.

Which is why it is a PrC—it is not meant to stand alone.

I still like the idea of regenerating rages. Something slow like 1 every 15 minutes or so. The limited number of rages is a huge drawback to the class. I wouldn't mind it giving progression.

This progression would be soooo nice. Barbarian and Bear Warrior is as far from being OP, as it can be, but it is still so fun to play and roleplay. Have you ever been so mad, that you turned into bear and ate your oponent? Big time yes for rage progression. Give some love to big guys.

So before I ask this to be closed, I am curious if someone who voted "no" might weigh in as to why? like to hear the other side of the coin.
