I know this is a feat bug I'm reporting, but I couldn't find a thread dedicated to feats; so this seemed like the closest logical place.
Anyway, introducing the AC-lowering One Hander feat!
Celine is a happy duelist who normally has a "displayed" AC of 29. Here's a couple of screenshots to show Celine's AC before the use of One Hander.
One Hander turned off:
Celine's AC without the One Hander feat:
Now, with One Hander on, the fun really begins as we randomly fight a goblin. Note, for this glitch - ANY combat will do.
The Tumble Spam begins:
Insightful Footwork is the Spammy Culprit:
The Combat Log has given up!:
Finally, Celine's NEW AC of 17 - a whole 12 points LOWER than her start:
So, what's happening? Well, Insightful Footwork decides it wants to proc like there's no tomorrow. It will keep activating ad-infinitum until the fight is over. As Dodge bonuses are allowed to stack in Neverwinter, for the first round or two this make Celine's AC 100% untouchable. However, after the 3rd or 4th round of combat, the AC value
overflows to the negatives! I wanted to get a picture of Celine with -92 AC, because that amuses me, but unfortunately I wasn't fast enough with the screenshots, and we had instead almost made it back fully around to her starting AC.
Still, it's a fun, if very strange bug. I can't force a trigger - it happens 100% randomly. When it does happen, all I have to do to fix the problem is turn One Hander off and wait for the "bonuses" to expire. Usually, it's good to finish the entire fight with it off, then don't turn it back on until after the character exits battle.
Just doing my part so you can be aware of a strange, yet somewhat hilarious bug.
