I'm wondering if this is even a thing...
What could an evil cleric do with implosion, for example?
Can a full caster be more then a healbot?
Just in general, any non-healing cleric viable at all, save multiclassing it with FS ?

If multiclassed with the Hierophant it may be able to do some pretty amazing things. Makes me wonder if a PM/H/C looks good........

I play a DC cleric. My implosion DC is 41 and storm of vengeance is 37.
You won't be great at PvP but you can PvM fairly well against standard mobs, not bosses though. Grinding would have been hard early to mid levels were it not for me taking monstrous companion via the animal domain. You can buff it with greater magic weapon, you can't do that with an actual animal.
Limits you to Malar if you take that route, but I'd welcome the company lol
Note: originally planned to be support style but since epic animal companion requires high wisdom be has good DCs.

I was thinking about an LE cleric of helm. Build ideas? Gear? Playstyle advice? Core spells?
Edit: My LN Dc wizard only has Dc40 so that would be an improvment...

10 Hospitaler, 10 Cleric, 10 Hierophant.
Maximize wisdom. Go for two spellpower feats from hierophant, and then whatever you want. Save Hospitaler levels 5-10 for epic levels, so you can pick epic feats at level 5 and 9 of Hospitaler. The bonus feats you pick are Epic Wisdom, of course.
You should be able to get 7 epic feats. These should be epic spell focus evocation, 5 epic wisdom and a spare feat for something (some epic spell probably, vampiric feast most likely).
Might be wise to get improved expertise, and a heavy shield with a fullplate or mithral fullplate as stats allow. Practiced spellcaster, Spellcasting Prodigy of course. Extend spell is the only useful metamagic for DC clerics, so get it.
For spells, make good use of all the evocation spells. Particularly focus on spells that do something other than just damage, because damage spells are so-so. It's better to just bash with a single divine power in that case. Think of playing a DC cleric as actually being a hybrid. Cast all of your powerful spells; implosion, word of faith, a single blade barrier etc., then use a few divine powers (only short-term buff you need before combat) and go bash the enemy's heads in. The only other short-term buff you should cast, and keep up at all times so memorize 5 extended ones, is prayer. Prayer is great for DC clerics because it gives everyone around them a -1 to their saves, so its an effective +1 DC for you (it also helps your entire party with +1 to hit and damage)
Do all of this, and you'll get the highest DC possible with a cleric, and the strongest kind of DC cleric to boot.
For the record, this is a DC 44 Implosion build, with very high AC. Vampiric feast at DC 39.

I prefer monk4/cleric26 myself. It lets you keep highish AC while not having to wear the heavy armour. Prevents you from using shields though. And it gets like 1 DC lower.
But Karond has the right of it otherwise.

Few questions:
What domain(s) you recommend for a helmite?
What kind of weapon should I focus on?
In what order should I take the levels in each class, how much does it matter?

1.) Strength allows earlier divine power, this helps with spell management which is important, and level 3 spells are usually the most useless spells for clerics so its a great spot for it. The rest of his domains are rather poor, but protection might be a step up for the earlier energy immunity. It doesn't matter that much though.
2.) Any martial weapon. You get the profiency for free with hospitaler, so pick something neat. Weapon of impact is a level 3 spell, and as said above, the most useless level for clerics. So using a bludgeoning weapon would be beneficial. This means a warhammer. Fits the archetype of a cleric too. Otherwise, just go for longsword, scimitar or whatever you feel like. You will not pick any weapon focus feat, so you can just pick up whatever martial weapon is the best at the time for you.
3.) The only thing that matters is saving level 5-10 of hospitaler for the epic levels. So start with 10 cleric, 4 hospitaler, 6 hierophant, and build from there? They've similar skills, so the progression doesn't matter that much. Also, make sure that you save a combat feat for hospitaler level 1. They can only pick combat related feats, so level 1 hospitaler is a good place to pick combat expertise.

Regular expertise, or ICE?

If you get one, get both
---
I also just realized, you need to go 12 cleric, 8 hierophant, 10 hospitaler. Otherwise you can't qualify for hierophant.
So start with 12 cleric, 4 hospitaler, 4 hierophant

monk3/SF10/Hierophant10/cleric7 of bane
STR8 / WISDOM Max
Spellpower x3 + PSC for the target CL of 32
Blast Infidel for 150 damage with harms on a succesful save / 300 on a failed save.
Tyranny domain for the level9 dominate spell ( free Spell focus Enchancement is a bonus as well ).
Epic spell focus necromancy. The DCs on implosion are good enough even withought the focus feats, while there are great SaveOrDie Necromancy spells on every level.

Impossible Mrm3ntalist, due to the 3b20 rule. Hierophant can only figure in builds with 3 classes, unless the 4th class is a more or less full progression class. You have hit the same mine again!

Its not impossible -
http://nwn2db.com/build/?236955 C8-17 = hierophant
It is 2 Monk levels, 7SF and 7Cleric till level 16 where you get 7lvl spells. Then 3 levels of Hiero and on 20 the 3rd of Monk.
The DCs will be 30+spell for Necro, a 37DC on Dominate and 39 implossion i think.

Ah, you're right! Sacred fist is almost a full progression class, forgot that.
