I don't like playing an insane character and want to switch Yeah. I really enjoy playing Calania, but I think given the people she's been bothering she won't be around much longer, so I've started planning my next character and I need feedback on his build. He'd be wearing the best leather armor I can get, a rapier in the main hand and a dagger in the off. I'm not changing his weapons, those are important.
Tempest requires improved two weapon fighting bud. You are a afeat short
Storm - The Blade Flurry Druegar Grizzleclaw - The Mountain Ruin Tsar Akroma Thuul - The Creepy Enchanter Liliana Duskblade - The B*tch of Bane Jamie Dawnbringer - The Light in the Darkness
This build would suffer from lack of Damage output. Also, I cannot think why the CHA is so high, besides for RP purposes—your Bard spellbook is sadly soooo dispellable, I'd almost never use it.
And max out H/MS.
I'd drop CHA down to 10 or 11 and up INT to 16, CON to 13 and STR to 13. I'd get rid of Weapon Focus Dagger and Stealthy (which can be found on Items). I'd take Combat Expertise and Combat Insight, for INT dmg. One could also not take Weapon Focus Rapier and take Improved TW Defense.
If attacking from Stealth, you can get by with 34 AB.
You need a minimum of 11 charisma to even start this build. You have 10. I'd suggest even getting a minimum of 12.
I would consider dropping two tempest levels in favour of two bard levels. It would get you one more in inspire courage (for a total of +7 with inspirational boost). That is no loss in AB, 1 more magical damage (which is also shared with your party!) but 1 less AC. Given that you have shadowdancer, though, most of your defense lies there.
